Almost three decades back the company laid down a long term and sustained approach to promote Motorsport. Participating in this form of the sport has helped the company in continuously updating its products to meet the challenges of gruelling Indian conditions. The sport at that time in India was perceived for elite but JK Tyre took upon itself to package and redesign the sport to suit the masses. The company not only made the sport affordable but also equivalent to International operating standards. JK Tyre’s foray into Motorsport was a well thought out strategic decision to not only use and develop this virgin branding platform but also to realize the dreams of making India a force in the field of motor sport. In 2011, the company acquired the Formula BMW Series and rechristened it as the JK Racing Asia Series (JKRAS). With this acquisition, JK Tyre created history in Indian Motorsport by becoming the first Indian company to acquire an FIA accredited series. The series has to its credit of producing as many as six of the current Formula One drivers, including reigning two- time champion Sebastian Vettel. This series was then converted to JK Racing India Series from 2013 to give more impetus to Indian talent in motorsports. JK Tyre now stands closer to achieving its mission of bringing world-class motorsport to the Indian masses. The Racing and Karting programme by JK Tyre has been the breeding ground for the country’s motorsport talents like Narain Karthikeyan, Armaan Ebrahim, Karun Chandhok, Aditya Patel and other new emerging talents.Vibha enjoyed the races from comfortable lounge, while I was having more fun around the tracks and of course, with my Travellingcamera. It was great to be around Motorsport enthusiasts. And after a long time, I met lot of friends from Himalayan & Northern Motorsports. We were really excited to be around these roaring machines at Budhh International Circuit. One of the friends had pass for service lane, so we could drive in the service lane to catch these fast moving machines at different parts of the track.Grand Stand of Budhh International Circuit was full of Motorsports enthusiasts.During lunch at JK Tyre lounge, there were some amazing performances organized. These girls were playing Indian songs and their performances were amazing.Safety Car waiting on the track to take a round of the track before rides hit the race ground. The newly introduced JK Super Bikes Cup received a resounding response with the grandstand getting choc-a-bloc to watch riders perform stunts and tricks besides racing the track.Delhi boy Kulwant Singh Monty got the best finish clocking 16:55.583.

This weekend Photo Journey team was at Budhh International Circuit to experience Motorsports at JK Tyre Racing Championship. The 3rd round races happened on 9th Nov at India's Budhh International Circuit in Great Noida. This Photo Journey shares some action filled moments from the BIC tracks full of roaring supermachines.Event was planned to start at 10:30 and we were there at around 10am. It took some time to locate Paddlock club of Budhh International Circuit. Finally we reached the right place and met other friends at JK Tyre lounge. Things were just warming up at that moment. The pit was just below the lounge and this place had perfect view to the place from where race starts. Here is the view of Grand Stand from Paddlock area where all the supermachines were gearing up for real action.JK Tyre has always been closely associated with the world of sports.
