How to see Thumbnails of RAW camera Files on Windows7? || Photography related Tips and Tricks

Handling Raw files without any software is nearly impossible and at times it's irritating that we can't see thumbnails of these files in Windows Explorer, but now Microsoft has come up with a solution for this. Just to go to the link shared below and download 'Microsoft Camera Codec Pac', which enables Windows for veiwing thumbnails fo Raw files like NEF, CR2, ARW etc.

For the past few years, I have taken to Himachali music. I first got introduced to it during my wedding, when a constant background music of women singing Himachali wedding songs, made the simple ceremony even more beautiful. Since then, I have been introduced to several Himachali songs that I have come to love. And this also gives me a great advantage - when I sing these in family gatherings, VJ's side of the family is unfailingly impressed by a non-Himachali knowing so many Himachali songs :-P.

Nikon D3500 Vs Canon 1500D - A quick review & the best entry level DSLR

When I look out for reviews and comparisons of products I want to buy, I find it difficult to read long posts which compare things which are just jargons for me and there is no clear verdict. And at the end I am more confused :). It was the day of Holi Festival and I started early at 3am for Bengaluru. I was full of excitement and everything went well and I reached Bengaluru by 9:30am. The plan was to start the train journey at 4pm from Taj West End and I had whole day to spend until then. Because of Holi I didn’t want to go out, but later I got to know that Holi is not celebrated at that scale in south India.

Key Monastery : Biggest Monastery of Spiti Valley with Stunning Architecture and an Excellent Training Centre for Lamas

Spiti is also famous for it's old & different styled monasteries. After driving for few minutes, we hit a place from where we could see the Key Monastery. The Key Monastery is located at around an altitude of 4000+ metres above the sea level and the monastery is very close to the Spiti River in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh in India. There is a small village on the way which is gradually converting into bigger town with modern buildings under construction. This photograph is clicked from the same village. There is also a primary school in this town. I clicked few photographs of the kids doing morning prayer but haven't processed them yet. Will try to share those in one of the other posts about Spiti.
