Delhi to San Francisco via Tokyo in All Nippon Airways | California Diaries

Last week you might have observed minimal action on the blog, because I was out on an official trip which kept me busy with varied things. I was travelling to San Francisco. Last Saturday, I started the journey from Delhi to San Francisco in All Nippon Airlines (ANA). This Photo Journey shares about my journey and experience of travelling in All Nippon Airlines (ANA).The flight was on time and we started at 1:30 am from Delhi. After 8 hours of flight we hit Narita International Airport Tokyo. While doing the airline booking, I had put the option for window seat and Hindu Non-veg meal. Both of these were very well taken care by the airlines. The flight from Delhi to Tokyo was bit uncomfortable because of the seating space and on top of that entertainment system in the flight had very few options. We had a break of 4 hrs at Narita Airport, so we got some time to explore the place and some of the shops there.Wifi is free on the airport so lot of folks were quite busy at the airport checking their emails and interacting with family. There were lot of folks doing video call with their kids :).Clicking selfies is also important :). Two things are every important these days when you are travelling - facebook checkin from the airport and a selfie with cool baclkground :).It was time to catch the next flight for San Francisco. The next flight was comparatively more comfortable. It had more leg space, although the entertainment system was the same. There were clouds all around us. It was again a 9 hrs flight from Tokyo to San Francisco. When looked down, we realized that we could clearly see the ocean through these clouds. The view was much cleaer at some places. Finally we reached San Francisco airport. It was time to reach our hotel and start exploring the city during the weekend. More from San Francisco and other parts of California will be shared soon on this blog.
