Here are few photographs of mountain climbing after River Crossing.. During this stretch, every rider had to climb few mountains with there bikes and there was no scope of riding them.. So, sometimes they had to keep those on their shoulders and try to drag if possible :) .... check out what all happened during this...It was really hard to trek even without any weight with you and I was wondering how those guys were dragging these cycles on those steep hills.... Sometimes, there was no scope of dragging, and they had to take them on their shoulders...Here is a Photograph of six riders climbing up the mountain with their bikes... Great Spirit !!! I think first climb was of 1.5 kilometers and it was the most difficult ... Solomon finding out creative way of playing on hills... All these things kept him busy and had no time to think about tiring trek :) ... I never saw any signs of tiredness on his face... Always happy and cheerful..In last photographs he was rolling his cycle on arrow and rough paths of the hills and here he has taken it on his head... Another style... I think he had tried ll possible activities with his bike on this hiking session...Jimsee was very happy to see all the natural beauty of the place and she was one of the top appreciators in the group :) Hills, Flowers, Insects, Butterflies, Snow, colors, apple orchards etc...Finally everyone reached a small village on hill top after 1.5 kilometers trek... Here is another enthusiast from Dehradun in Uttrakhand ; Mr. Ranjan Nautiyal... I had few chances to chat with him and liked his company during this time... He was very happy about the event and had a very different/interesting thoughts about the event... will share sometime :) After reaching the peak, we had to move towards the other villages and now we had to walk on the top of the hill. so these not really climbs but there were few uphill stretches on the way... But till now, everyone was very tired.. especially PHOTOQUEST group...There were few natural obstacles on the way but these were nothing for these riders,as they had faces more difficult challenges on day-1 itself... On the way, we crossed Chamroti Village and had a chance to meet the cricket team of this area... There were folks from Matdhar, Chamroti and Shigoti...After 2 Hrs, four of us very hungry and we had nothing to eat... We asked for water on the way and they also offered us very special apples... All of us were very happy and each of us had two apples :) ... God Bless them !!!This whole stretch was naturally very rich but we had not enough time to stay back and give sufficient time to our shots.. Here is one of the clicks I got on the way... But never mind, this trip was for capturing real action of riders and we did that !!There was a small road after 3/4th of the stretch, but it was difficult on ride there... Here Peter is tired but near to final destination...Again a similar Butterfly caught on the way...Some children came towards the road to see all the riders in their village (Matdhar)... We asked them if there is any shop in the village but unfortunately there was nothing there.. We were surprised to imagine that how these people manage to bring their stuff from the nearest market, which was at the distance of 7 kilometers...Trying hard to ride...

Mountain Hiking and Biking Stretch on Second Day of MTB Himachal 2010 : Posted by VJ SHARMA on www.travellingcamera.com : Hope you have already checked photographs of first two days including River Crsossing... Trying hard to ride...
