Here is how Delhi Photo Festival is known :

'The biennial Delhi Photo Festival is an initiative of the India Habitat Centre & Nazar Foundation to bring photography, the real democratic art form, into the public space, thereby creating awareness of photographic arts and initiating dialogue amongst its many practitioners and lovers.

Learning, sharing, showing new work, giving voice to young collectives, interaction between photo practitioners and enthusiasts as well as popularizing the art of photography are some of the aims of the Delhi Photo Festival.

The next festival will be held from September 27 to October 11 in New Delhi. The theme for the next festival is 'GRACE' and we will open for submissions early 2013.'

Though the primary exhibitions and events of the Festival will remain at the India Habitat Centre, leading galleries of the city will participate, mounting independent exhibitions and events in their own spaces, thus making the Festival a city-wide one.

September 27 to October 11, 2013

Opening week: September 27 to October 2, 2013

GRACE has been chosen as the theme for the Delhi Photo Festival 2013 as a tribute to the late Prabuddha Dasgupta.
