Dhuandhar or The Smoke Cascade @ Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, INDIA

After cutting through the marvelous marble rocks, waters of the River Narmada take a sudden plunge from a height of 200ft causing a thunderous sound and a considerable amount of mist giving birth to the Great Waterfall so aptly named "Dhuandhar" or the smoke cascade.

Dhuandhar is 3 kms ahead of Bhedaghat and 23 kms from Jabalpur.

It is a bit of an acquired taste. It felt something like eating a raw potato.
